Everyone has the right to take part in governing his or her country, either directly or through elected representatives. Everyone has the right equal access to public service. Government’s authority flows from the will of the people. The will of the people will be known by holding free elections at regular and recurring times. Voting in these these elections shall be free to all who are eligible to vote. The votes will be based on one person, one vote and how you vote will be kept secret.
